Positive Parenting sessions
Positive Parenting sessions will start on 17th January and continue every Tuesday 10am-12pm for five weeks.  If you would like to sign up for these sessions please call in to the Centre office.  A free creche is available but places need to be booked in advance.


 

Aerobics

Our 'Aerobics for adults' sessions are now held every THURSDAY from 4pm-5pm in the school hall and are still only 50p per session (for a limited time!).   

 
 

Reception Admissions
We have a computer available with internet access if you would like help applying online for your child's Reception place (if they turn 4 years old before September 1st 2012).  Please ring on 9030460 or call in and ask for Kellie.

 

 

 

 

 

                               

Computer
We have a computer in the Parents Room that is free of charge for our parents to use.  We can help you with things such as typing up CVs, applying for jobs and researching benefits you may be entitled to.  If you would like to use the computer (with or without help from staff), please ask Linda or Jayne at Reception.

Let's Make Marks!
From birth, children begin learning the skills that will help them become readers and writers.  In the Children's Centre we help them to do this by providing lots of opportunities for them to make marks.  As you can see by the photos, mark making is not just about using a pencil and piece of paper!  Have a go at home - what can you use to encourage your child to make marks?  Any activities like this will help them develop the skills and confidence to learn to read and write.
